Shoulder: Phase A (Acute) Rehab Plan
Join me to rehab that shoulder injury from the beginning with this perfect beginner rehab schedule for those with a HOT NEW injury. You are either weak in some ranges of motion, you have swelling and pain in the shoulder itself, and you are not yet ready to return to climbing.
Perfect for those with symptoms of:
- Labral tears
- Capsular overstretch injuries
- Trauma on the wall
For those of you who are non-surgical (most of you) or have decided to try conservative care for a hot new injury, this plan includes the acute care for a shoulder injury and the entry exercises that accompany recovering from a major injury.
To begin this rehab, you should have a perfectly healed wound site (if you are post surgical). You should be prepared for pulley exercises, and range of motoin exercises that might be uncomfortable using bands, bodyweight and/or a physioball.
If you are unsure as to IF you are ready to begin a rehab program for Phase1 Acute care, please consult your physician.
Once you have full range of motion, strength with these exercises and a full return to your daily activities of living (outside of sport) you are safe to begin my Phase B or "Building" phase to begin your return you back to climbing. From phase B, we move to climbing in Phase C, returning to climbing.
Once purchased, I will send over the PDF immediately with additional links to videos for your phone or computer using MedBridge. They are available for 30 days.
Not only will you get stronger, but we will build back your confidence as well as your body. You will have a very specific training plan, 5-7 days per week to begin building you back up so you can once again achieve your goals. I am excited you are joining me for this!
